Declare Independence - BJORK
Last Autumn, I was alerted to some awesome footage of Bjork performing here in Scotland.
I (and indeed the many thousand of fans present) were very attracted to "Declare Independence". This went down a bomb with Scots in the crowd - outdoor light show was stunning...
Above is studios version with a Mr Jewels Holland - I hope you like.
Yagshemash.

Mull of Kintrye - Paul McCartney and Wings
Fell in love with this when I was about nine.
"Several years later" - I get to see (and be able to upload) VIDEO...
TV version
or the official video
Mull of Kintyre, oh mist rolling in from the sea
My desire is always to be here
Oh Mull of Kintyre
Far have I travelled and much have I seen
Dark distant mountains with valleys of green
Past painted deserts, the sun sets on fire
As he carries me home to the Mull of Kintyre
Mull of Kintyre, oh mist rolling in from the sea
My desire is always to be here
Oh Mull of Kintyre
Sweep through the heather like deer in the glen
Carry me back to the days I knew then
Nights when we sang like a heavenly choir
Of the life and the times of the Mull of Kintyre
Mull of Kintyre, oh mist rolling in from the sea
My desire is always to be here
Oh Mull of Kintyre
Smiles in the sunshine and tears in the rain
Still take me back where my mem'ries remain
Flickering embers grow higher and high'r
As they carry me back to the Mull of Kintyre
Mull of Kintyre, oh mist rolling in from the sea
My desire is always to be here
Oh Mull of Kintyre

"Wake up Now" by Bluestorm
"Wake up Now" by Bluestorm
This is one of my favoutire recordings from the 90's.
For some background blurb, a better quality and downloadable (free) version, click here.
(Such experiments do not always work).
(to embed an MP3, I am currently required to attach a picture/video. The visual stuff is a hastily prepared random medley).
